Sound quality is really good. The detachable extension microphones are a great addition. We got a great price on this phone (well below retail) so this was a happy purchase. The phone is also aesthetically pleasing so that's a bonus. Some great features and it all works as it should. My one slight complaint was with the information I received from the seller. We have a Toshiba digital phone system and so I asked about this device's compatibility with the digital phone system. The seller replied that this phone would work fine with digital systems (as well as analog and VOIP). I now know that this answer was actually a little vague or even perhaps misleading (probably unintentionally). This conference phone will NOT just hook right up with a digital phone system. It's not that simple. If you think you'll be able to just plug it in and go, that's not going to happen. I tried everything to get it to work through our admin console with no luck, so we eventually called our Toshiba tech out to see if this would work. Turns out, this device requires an analog line and will not simply work on a digital system. Our Toshiba system only had one analog output that could be assigned, so we lucked out and were able to hook it up.So, in the end, we were able to get this to work; however, it functions as a stand alone, analog device NOT a digital phone. We cannot transfer calls to other extensions or use any of the normal digital functions of our system. What we are able to do is transfer an incoming call from our digital system (i.e. one of the other digital phones/lines on our network) to this analog line. Once we make the transfer from the digital line to this device (on the analog line), the device rings like a normal incoming call. That's it...So, it does work, but it's really just an analog connection from/through the digital system. Don't be fooled thinking that this is a digital workstation phone that you can just connect easily to your system. You will likely need your support person to tell you whether it is even possible and you may also need them to do the hook up work. Not all digital systems are setup with analog ports. Some may have to have additional hardware installed to accommodate analog lines. In the end this worked for us because we just happened to have a single analog circuit already installed, but it cost extra money to pay our tech to connect the analog line and setup the station. Had I relied solely upon the sales rep's answer, I would have bought two of these phones only to discover that I could not connect the other one because our system was incapable (without extra hardware). As long as you are aware of this detail, you may be able to get this phone to work and it is a great device overall. I subtracted one star for "ease of use" only because of the slight headache we had with getting it to work on our system.During the pandemic, when it was impossible for the ladies in my Bible study to meet, the group found this unit much easier than Zoom. It is a light accessible unit that is still being used in this time of the current gas price increased.Okay, I didn't really need this in my WFH office, but quarantine and boredom has me overdoing things. This actually turned out to be one of those things that I bought because I thought it would make me feel like I was still at HQ instead of at home, but after I hooked it up and had my first WebEx Conference all I can say is WOW! I had no idea what I was missing. the sound clarity and echo free conversation makes this worth twice what they are charging. And it just might make you forget about the fact that you are working from home. Definitely worth it!Used this for my hotel meeting room. The wireless mics are an added bonus. Make sure to dial 1 plus # of your outside extension to cal out.I saw many comments from the manufacture stating "The AT&T SB3014 is designed to work on analog, digital or VOIP residential type of service". I decided to purchase this to use on RingCentral service on VOIP. Opened up the box and there was an ethernet outlet on the base unit but this plugs into the ethernet outlet to the power adaptor and it says power only and not an ethernet data connection. The power adaptor also has a RJ11 (regular analog phone line) so I cannot connect this to my wall ethernet outlet (to connect to internet). I tried to connect the base and wall outlet direct but then there is no power since it's not going through the power adaptor and this did not work. Being confused, I called the 1-800 number and spoke with Tech support and they told me that this unit cannot be used on VOIP as it is only capable with an analog line. I asked if I can buy an adaptor to make it work but they said it must be plugged into a RJ11 phone outlet and no way to make it work with VOIP. I told them that there are comments on the product page from the manufacture stating that it works with VOIP. They said they will escalate the issue and contact Amazon to correct this. If you are looking for a conference phone that works with VOIP, I would recommend looking at Polycom IP series and others that works with VOIP and connects to your ethernet internet outlet. This one does not work for sure. Hope this helps. This greatly improved our meetings. Not only were everyone at the table around the main speaker easier to hear and understand, people farther away (in the audience) were too. The wireless mics really help since you can place them around the room. The only thing I would improve is to use rechargeable AAA batteries so you don't need to leave the conference phone plugged in all the time.Really, I just plugged it in and it worked. Even over an IP line. The four wireless microphones work flawlessly and I can position them anywhere in the room without having to deal with a bunch of wires everywhere. The quality of the sound in the speaker is great. I've used lots of conference phones over the years and I'd put this one at the top. I was frankly surprised and didn't expect it to outperform a polycom soundstation. But truly I like this better. Because of the four microphones the listeners on the other end of the call can hear much better and have a better experience from the call overall.Nice sound in large open board room, and having 4 remote mics is a significant improvement over our Polycom with 2 mics. We had to pass the mic around for remote users to hear properly.again, NoExcellent product but make sure you have an analog line to connect thisGreat audio and easy to setupGood product
