I got this for my hearing impaired aunt. She removes her hearing aid when she sleeps so something like this is needed to ensure she can be alerted to emergency calls from families. Easy installation. We keep the main unit is in the kitchen and the cordless unit on her nightstand. Great value on Amazon; I shopped many places. Phones like these are rare to find in the market and I'm glad Amazon carries them and sells them at reasonable prices. My aunt tells me it works and she loves it, giving me comfort in knowing emergency personnel can reach her in the middle of the night, while she's sleeping soundly. The ringer is loud, as it needs to be. The dial numbers are large and the light bar lights up red, providing another alert system.I hope Clarity will continue to make better phones like this and improve on technologies and bring to market more user friendly hearing impaired telecommunication devices, especially because of our aging population here in the States and else where in the world.
